Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:47 AM NST 2 December 2024 An intense low pressure system over the South Labrador Sea will drifteastward today and tonight. Strong to gale force northerlies over
northern waters will back to strong to gale force northwesterlies
behind the low. Over southern waters, strong to gale force
southwesterlies will veer to strong to gale force northwesterlies
behind the low. Winds will gradually diminish as the low moves away.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville.
