By 4:00 p.m. NST Monday low 967 mb located over the South Labrador
Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:59 PM NST 17 February 2019 An intense low pressure system over the East Labrador Sea will remainquasi-stationary throughout most of the forecast period. Gale to
storm force winds are expected over all waters with this system.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
all waters except Lake Melville and the East Labrador Sea - southern
half, where gale warnings are in effect.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for South Labrador Sea and Northwest Labrador Sea.
