Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:08 PM NST 24 February 2018 An intense low pressure system nearly stationary just off the
southeastern coast of Greenland will gradually weaken through the
forecast period. Meanwhile, a trough of low pressure over the Belle
Isle Bank will continue to move away from the marine district
tonight. Strong to gale force northwesterlies will diminish tonight
and Sunday as a ridge builds in from the west.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast and the Labrador Sea.
