Issued 9:30 PM NDT 12 April 2026 Tonight and Monday At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight deepening low 989 mb located east of the
Grand Banks.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Monday quasi-stationary low 983 mb located east
of Funk Island Bank.

At 4:00 p.m. NDT Monday trough located on a line north-south
over Quebec.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Monday trough located on a line north-south over
Ungava Bay.

At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight ridge located on a line north-south over
the North Labrador Coast.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Monday ridge located on a line north-south over
Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:18 PM NDT 12 April 2026 A low pressure system east of the Grand Banks will track
northeastward and intensify east of Funk Island Bank, where it will
remain nearly stationary. Strong to gale force northerlies to
northwesterlies over southern waters will gradually diminish tonight
and Monday.

A trough of low pressure will approach from the west on Monday.
Strong to gale force southeasterlies will develop ahead of the trough
late on Monday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast, North Labrador Coast, and South Labrador Sea -
southeastern half.
