Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:26 AM NDT 8 May 2026 A low pressure system over the Northwest Labrador Sea will tracknorth to lie east of Baffin Island by early Saturday morning. Strong
to gale force south to southeasterlies ahead of the low will shift to
strong to gale force southwesterlies to northwesterlies behind it.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast and the Labrador Sea.
