Issued 4:00 AM NST 6 December 2025 Today Tonight and Sunday At 4:00 a.m. NST today quasi-stationary trough located on a linenorthwest-southeast over the Northwest Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:51 AM NST 6 December 2025 A trough of low pressure will remain nearly stationary over theNorthwest Labrador Sea. Strong to gale force east to southeasterlies
will continue east of the trough, and strong to gale force north to
northwesterlies will continue west of the trough before diminishing
Sunday morning as the trough weakens.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville and South Labrador Sea - eastern half.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Lake Melville, Labrador coast and Northwest Labrador Sea -
western half.
