Issued 4:00 PM NDT 6 April 2020 Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 p.m. NDT today weakening trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over the South Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight dissipating trough located over the South
Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday low 990 mb located over Belle Isle Bank.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Tuesday low 990 mb located north of Groswater Bay.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:49 PM NDT 6 April 2020 A trough of low pressure will continue to weaken over the South
Labrador Sea tonight. Strong to gale force northerlies are expected
today north of the trough.

A low pressure system will move over southern waters on Tuesday.
Gale force northeasterly to northwesterly winds will develop over all
open waters ahead of this approaching system.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, and Northwest
Labrador Sea.
