Issued 9:30 PM NDT 20 August 2018 Tonight and Tuesday At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight quasi-stationary low located over Davis
Strait.

At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight trough from low located east of the
Marine District.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday trough located over eastern Greenland.

At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight ridge located over western Quebec.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Tuesday ridge located on a line east-west over
the South Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:21 PM NDT 20 August 2018 A trough of low pressure extending from a low in the Davis Strait
will move to lie along the East Coast of Greenland tonight. Strong to
gale force westerlies are expected over northern waters tonight in
the wake of the trough. These winds will persist into Tuesday as the
low remains nearly stationary and a ridge builds in over southern
waters.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast, Northwest Labrador Sea, and East Labrador Sea.
