Greenland.
At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight low 998 mb located northeast of the
Great Lakes.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Friday low 993 mb located near the Gaspe Peninsula.
At 4:00 p.m. NDT today building ridge located over Quebec.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Friday ridge located over Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:57 PM NDT 19 June 2025 A low pressure system southeast of the Labrador Sea will moveeastward and depart south of Greenland this evening. Strong to gale
force easterlies north of the low will diminish tonight as the low
departs.
Another low pressure system approaching Atlantic Canada from the
Great Lakes will lie near the Gaspé Peninsula by Friday evening.
Gale force northeasterlies will develop over Lake Melville late
Friday north of the low.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
East Labrador Sea and Lake Melville.
