Issued 9:30 PM NDT 10 March 2025 Tonight and Tuesday At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight trough located on a linenorthwest-southeast over the East Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday quasi-stationary trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over central Labrador Sea.
At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight ridge located over western Labrador.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Tuesday ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over central Labrador.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:16 PM NDT 10 March 2025 A trough of low pressure over the East Labrador Sea will move slowlywestward to lie between the East Labrador Sea and the South Labrador
Sea tonight then remain stationary. Meanwhile a ridge of high
pressure approaching from the west will move to lie over Central
Labrador by Tuesday afternoon. Gale force southeasterlies are
expected east of the trough, with strong to gale force
northwesterlies to its west.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Sea and East Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for South Labrador Sea and Northwest Labrador Sea.
