At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight departing trough from 982 mb low located
east of Newfoundland.

By 10:00 a.m. NST Sunday approaching low 988 mb located near
Cape Cod.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:55 PM NST 19 January 2019 An intensifying low pressure system over the South Labrador Sea will
move to lie south of Greenland on Sunday. Gale to storm force west to
northwesterlies will gradually diminish overnight and Sunday as the
low moves away and a ridge of high pressure approaches from the

A second intensifying low pressure system will approach
The Maritimes Sunday evening. Strong to gale force east to
southeasterlies will develop Sunday afternoon over southern and Gulf
waters ahead of this low.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
the Belle Isle Bank. Gale warnings are in effect for Gulf - Port au
Port, Southwest Coast and Funk Island Bank.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except South Coast, East Coast Cape St. Francis
and south and the Southern Grand Banks.
