Issued 8:00 PM NST 13 November 2018 Tonight and Wednesday At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight intensifying low 996 mb located over the
Gulf of Maine.
By 8:00 p.m. NST Wednesday low 948 mb located over Funk Island Bank.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight ridge located over Newfoundland.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Wednesday departing ridge located east of the
Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:49 PM NST 13 November 2018 A low approaching from the southwest will cross the Gulf of St.
Lawrence on Wednesday and rapidly deepen. This low will be a very
intense storm as it crosses the Funk Island Bank Wednesday evening.
Gale force southeasterly winds will spread across all waters ahead of
the low on Wednesday then veer to storm force westerlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that storm force wind warnings are in
effect for all waters.

Marine interests are further advised that higher than normal water
levels and pounding surf are expected Thursday between White Bay and
Cape Race.
