Issued 3:30 PM NDT 23 September 2018 Tonight and Monday At 3:30 p.m. NDT today quasi-stationary low 961 mb located over
eastern Labrador Sea.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today trough located over the Quebec Lower
North Shore.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Monday dissipating trough located over the
Grand Banks.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT Monday approaching ridge located over the
Maritimes.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:11 PM NDT 23 September 2018 An intense low pressure system over the East Labrador Sea will remain
nearly stationary and slowly weaken tonight and Monday. Meanwhile, a
trough of low pressure over the Quebec Lower North Shore will cross
Newfoundland tonight and dissipate over the Grand Banks Monday
morning.

Strong to gale force west to southwesterly winds ahead of the trough
shift to strong to gale force northwesterlies behind it.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters and Belle Isle Bank.
