By 3:30 p.m. NST today departing low 982 mb located east of the
Marine District.
At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight approaching low 1004 mb located over the
East Coast of the U.S.
At 3:00 a.m. NST today ridge located on a line north-south over
the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Monday ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over the Grand Banks.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:54 AM NST 10 December 2023 A low pressure system east of the marine district will depart to theeast later today. Strong to gale force northwesterlies will diminish
through the day as a ridge moves in from the west.
A second low will approach the district from the southwest tonight.
Strong to gale force south to southwesterlies will spread across all
waters tonight and Monday ahead of the low.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except East Coast - Cape St. Francis and south and
Southwestern Grand Banks.
