Wind diminishing to west 25 to 35 this afternoon then increasing to west 35 to 45 this evening. Wind veering to northwest 25 to 35 overnight then diminishing to northwest 15 to 20 near noon Wednesday. Wind diminishing to light Wednesday afternoon.

Issued 3:00 AM NST 24 November 2020 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 3:00 a.m. NST today intensifying low 990 mb located over
Anticosti Island.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Wednesday low 958 mb located over eastern
Labrador Sea.

By 3:00 a.m. NST Wednesday ridge located over Maine.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:52 AM NST 24 November 2020 A low pressure system over Anticosti Island will track across
Southeastern Labrador today to lie over the East Labrador Sea
Wednesday morning. Gale to storm force south to southeasterlies will
shift to gale to storm force southwesterlies, then gale to hurricane
force northwesterlies tonight. Winds will gradually diminish on
Wednesday as the low departs to the southeast of Greenland and a
ridge of high pressure approaches from the west.

Marine interests are advised that a hurricane force wind warning is
in effect for Belle Isle Bank. Storm warnings are in effect for all
remaining waters.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, Northeast Coast, and
Belle Isle Bank.
