the Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over the Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today trough located over central Labrador Coast.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Sunday low 997 mb located over southern Labrador
Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:55 AM NDT 11 July 2020 As of 3:00 AM NDT tropical storm Fay was located near latitude 40.1
north and longitude 74.2 west, about 10 nautical miles or 30
kilometres northwest of New York City. Maximum sustained winds were
estimated at 35 knots and the central pressure was 1001 MB.

Fay is moving toward the north at 15 knots. Fay is expected to weaken
and become post-tropical as it moves into Southern Quebec this
morning.
