Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:47 PM NDT 21 March 2025 A low pressure system over the Gulf of Maine will approach the marinedistrict from the southwest tonight and cross Newfoundland on
Saturday. Moderate to strong south to southeasterlies ahead of the
low will shift to strong to gale force west to southwesterlies in its
wake Saturday evening.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Southwest Coast, South Coast, and Southwestern Grand Banks.
