Issued 7:28 PM AST 6 November 2025 An intense low pressure system near the Avalon Peninsula willcontinue to track northeast and away from the region tonight. Gale to
hurricane force northwest winds will slowly diminish tonight and
Friday.
Marine interests are advised that hurricane force wind warnings are
in effect for Banquereau and Laurentian Fan - northeastern half.
A storm warning is in effect for Laurentian Fan - southwestern half.
Gale warnings are in effect for Browns Bank, Georges Bank, West
Scotian Slope, eastern shore, Sable, East Scotian Slope, Fourchu,
Cabot Strait, Northumberland Strait, Gulf-Magdalen, Chaleur-Miscou,
