At 10:30 a.m. AST Sunday ridge located west of the Marine District.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Sunday ridge located over the western Marine
District.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:51 PM AST 16 February 2019 A trough of low pressure stretching from Newfoundland to LaurentianFan will move east of the district later this evening. Falling
temperatures and strong to gale force northwest winds in the wake of
the trough will give way to freezing spray to some waters.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Gulf-Magdalen - northern half and Anticosti.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for eastern shore-eastern half, Sable-eastern half, Fourchu,
Banquereau, Cabot Strait, Gulf-Magdalen-northern half and Anticosti.
