over the Great Northern Peninsula.
By 3:30 p.m. AST Tuesday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. AST Tuesday high 1025 mb located over Maine.
By 3:30 p.m. AST Tuesday high 1022 mb located over East Scotian
Slope.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:25 PM AST 10 December 2018 A trough of low pressure over Northern Newfoundland will move
South to Banquereau Tuesday morning before moving east of the
forecast waters. Strong to gale force northwesterlies are forecast
near the trough over eastern waters tonight into Tuesday morning. The
cold northwesterlies will also give freezing spray to much of the
northern marine district.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Fourchu, Banquereau, Laurentian Fan-northeastern half, Cabot Strait,
Gulf-Magdalen northeastern half and Anticosti-eastern half.

In addition, freezing spray warnings are in effect for grand
Manan, Northumberland Strait, Gulf-Magdalen-southwestern half,
Chaleur-Miscou and Anticosti.
