At 10:00 a.m. AST Saturday low 990 mb located over the Grand Banks.

Issued 9:31 AM AST 8 November 2024 A low pressure system will track across northern waters tonight andSaturday. On Saturday, in the wake of this system, strong to gale
force northerly winds are forecast and are expected to diminish
Saturday night.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Fundy, Northumberland Strait - western half,
Chaleur-Miscou and Anticosti.
Outlook for the start-up of the Southwest New Brunswick lobster
fishery.
Monday..Wind southwest 20 knots. Seas less than 1 metre increasing to
1 to 2 metres in the afternoon.
Tuesday..Light winds increasing to northwest 25 knots late in the
day. Seas less than 1 metre increasing to 1 to 2 metres late in the
day.
