By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight low 992 mb located east of Newfoundland.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT today ridge located west of the Marine District.
By 10:00 a.m. ADT Monday departing ridge located over the
southeastern Marine District.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT Monday approaching low 1000 mb located near the
St. Lawrence River.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:24 PM ADT 12 April 2026 A low pressure system over Eastern Newfoundland will pull away from
the marine district by tonight. Strong to gale force northwesterlies
will continue over eastern waters will diminish this evening.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Fourchu, Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait.
