Issued 8:00 PM AST 4 February 2025 Tonight and Wednesday At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight departing trough located east of theMarine District.
At 3:00 a.m. AST Wednesday ridge from 1036 mb high located near
the Great Lakes.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Wednesday approaching ridge from 1030 mb high
located over New England.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:53 PM AST 4 February 2025 Strong to gale force west to northwest winds across the marinedistrict, between a low pressure system north of Newfoundland and a
ridge to the west, will start to diminish late on Wednesday as the
ridge builds into the region.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Cabot Strait - northern half, Gulf-Magdalen and Anticosti - southern
half.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, southwestern shore, eastern
shore, Sable, Fourchu, Banquereau, Cabot Strait and all Gulf of St.
Lawrence waters.
