Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 8:00 PM AST 8 February 2026 Tonight and Monday At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight departing low 970 mb located south of
the Grand Banks.

By 3:00 a.m. AST Monday quasi-stationary ridge located over the
Great Lakes.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 8:25 PM AST 8 February 2026 A low pressure system south of the Grand Banks will continue to
depart the region. Strong to gale force north to northwest winds in
the wake of the low will slowly diminish as a result.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Laurentian Fan.

Marine interests are advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, eastern shore, Fourchu, Gulf
- Magdalen, and Anticosti.
