A few flurries ending late this evening. Snow beginning early Saturday morning and changing to showers or flurries Saturday afternoon then to a few flurries Saturday evening. Visibility 1 mile or less in snow.

At 3:00 a.m. AST Saturday low 985 mb located over southern Quebec.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Saturday low 984 mb located northeast of Anticosti
Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:28 PM AST 19 January 2018 A low pressure system over the Southern Grand Banks will continue to
track eastward away from the district this evening. Strong to gale
force northerly winds over southeastern waters will diminish as the
disturbance moves away.
Another low pressure system currently over Ontario will track
eastward across Southern Quebec Saturday morning to lie near
Anticosti Island by Saturday afternoon. Strong to gale force south to
southwesterly winds are forecast over much of the district on
Saturday ahead of this system.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, southwestern
shore, LaHave Bank, West Scotian Slope, eastern shore, Sable, East
Scotian Slope, Fourchu, Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait and
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Northumberland Strait-eastern half, Gulf-Magdalen and
Atlantic - Newfoundland Area
