to Laurentian Fan.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Wednesday dissipating trough located from Anticosti
Island to Banquereau.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight ridge located over the Gulf of Maine.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Wednesday ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over the Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:45 PM ADT 16 June 2026 A trough of low pressure stretching from the Gaspé Peninsula to
Laurentian Fan will begin to weaken as it moves very slowly eastward
tonight. Strong to gale force southeasterly winds ahead of the trough
shift to moderate to strong westerlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Cabot Strait - northern half.
