Wind light increasing to easterly 15 to 20 knots near noon and to easterly 25 to 30 this afternoon. Wind increasing to southeast 35 this evening then diminishing to southwest 25 Wednesday morning.
Snow beginning this morning changing to freezing rain and ice pellets this afternoon then to periods of rain this evening and ending Wednesday morning. Fog patches forming this evening and dissipating after midnight. Visibility 1 mile or less in precipitation and in fog patches.
Temperatures minus 11 rising to plus 6 Wednesday morning then falling to zero Wednesday evening.

By 3:30 p.m. AST Wednesday trough from 978 mb low located on a
line north-south over Banquereau.
At 3:00 a.m. AST today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
By 8:00 p.m. AST tonight departing ridge located east of the
Marine Weather StatementIssued 2:53 AM AST 23 January 2018 A low pressure system near the Great Lakes this morning will track
eastward towards the region. Strong to gale force southerlies will
spread across most of the district on ahead of a trough associated
with this system. There is a chance of storm force southerlies over
southern waters near the trough.
As this trough tracks east over northern forecast waters on Wednesday
strong to gale force westerlies will develop in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Fundy.
Freezing spray warnings are in effect for Gulf-Magdalen,
Chaleur-Miscou and Anticosti.
