Issued 8:00 PM ADT 23 October 2018 Tonight and Wednesday At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Wednesday ridge located east of Newfoundland.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight low 1012 mb located near Cape Cod.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Wednesday deepening low 1002 mb located near
Lurcher.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:54 PM ADT 23 October 2018 A low pressure system near Cape Cod this evening will start to
intensify tonight before tracking northeastward toward the district.
There remains some uncertainty over the exact track and intensity of
this system. Current model guidance suggests it will track over Nova
Scotia Wednesday evening. Strong to gale force southeast to northeast
winds will develop ahead of this system with strong to gale force
northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except southwestern shore, LaHave Bank and East Scotian Slope.
