Issued 9:45 AM AST 17 January 2026 A trough of low pressure will approach today to lie over the centralmarine district by this evening. Strong to gale force southerlies are
expected ahead of this trough.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
southeastern half of Banquereau and Laurentian Fan.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Gulf-Magdalen and Anticosti.
