By 10:00 a.m. ADT today departing ridge located east of the Marine
District.

At 3:00 a.m. ADT today quasi-stationary trough located on a line
east-west over the northern Gulf of St. Lawrence.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:28 AM ADT 14 July 2024 An unstable area of convection associated with a weak trough is
moving east over very warm water in Georges Bank and West Scotian
Slope. This will likely result in thunderstorms giving unpredictable
winds gusting to gale force, until the trough passes southeast of the
district this morning.
