Issued 8:00 PM AST 5 November 2024 Tonight and Wednesday At 10:00 a.m. AST Wednesday trough located over the Gaspe Peninsula.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Wednesday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over eastern Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:48 PM AST 5 November 2024 A trough of low pressure will pass over the Gulf of St Lawrence on
Wednesday and lie over Newfoundland by Wednesday evening. Strong to
gale force west to southwest winds are expected south of the trough
on Wednesday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Browns Bank, Georges Bank, LaHave Bank, West Scotian Slope, Sable,
East Scotian Slope, Banquereau - southern half and Laurentian Fan.
