Issued 8:00 PM NST 25 February 2018 Tonight and Monday At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight quasi-stationary low 965 mb located
southeast of the Grand Banks.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight high 1033 mb located over Newfoundland.
By 8:00 p.m. NST Monday high 1026 mb located east of Belle Isle
Bank.

At 3:30 p.m. NST Monday approaching low 1006 mb located south of
the Maritimes.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:48 PM NST 25 February 2018 A low pressure system southeast of the Grand Banks will remain nearly
stationary tonight and Monday. Strong to gale force north to
northwesterlies will continue over eastern waters in its wake,
diminishing throughout the night and Monday as a ridge builds in from
the west.

A second low will approach from the Maritimes on Monday. Strong to
gale force southeasterlies are expected ahead of this feature.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Southwest Coast, Funk Island Bank, Northern Grand Banks, and
Southeastern Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except Southwest Coast, South Coast, and
Southeastern Grand Banks.
