Issued 10:00 AM NST 7 February 2026 Today Tonight and Sunday At 10:00 a.m. NST today low 961 mb located over the southeastern
Grand Banks.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Sunday low 968 mb located east of the Marine
District.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today low 989 mb located over southern Labrador
Sea.
By 3:30 a.m. NST Sunday weakening low 998 mb located over Labrador
Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:51 AM NST 7 February 2026 An intense low pressure system over the Southeastern Grand Banks will
track northeastward to lie east of the marine district overnight.
Gale to storm force northerlies to northeasterlies over southern
waters will gradually diminish to strong to gale force northerlies
this evening.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
the Grand Banks. Gale warnings are in effect for South Coast, East
Coast, and Funk Island Bank.

Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Belle Isle Bank.
