Issued 3:30 PM NST 14 November 2018 Tonight and Thursday At 3:30 p.m. NST today deepening low 960 mb located east of the
Great Northern Peninsula.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Thursday low 944 mb located east of Funk Island
Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:15 PM NST 14 November 2018 A powerful low pressure system just east of the Great Northern
Peninsula will continue to intensify as it crosses the Funk Island
Bank tonight. Gale force southeasterly winds ahead of the low become
storm to hurricane force west to northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that hurricane warnings are in effect
for East Coast, Northeast Coast, Funk Island Bank, Northern Grand
Banks, and Southeastern Grand Banks. Storm warnings are in effect for
all remaining waters.

Marine interests are further advised that a high water level warning
is in effect for East Coast and Northeast Coast.
