Wind increasing to southeast 25 this evening except southeast 35 over western sections. Wind diminishing to southwest 20 Friday morning and to variable 10 to 15 near noon Friday.

Showers tonight and Friday. Fog banks forming this evening becoming fog patches Friday morning.

Brunswick.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Friday low 975 mb located near the Gaspe Peninsula.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today trough from low located on a line
northwest-southeast over Nova Scotia.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Friday trough from low located on a line
northwest-southeast over the Northeast Coast of Newfoundland.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over eastern Newfoundland.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT today departing ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over Funk Island Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:59 AM NDT 22 April 2021 An approaching low pressure system will stall over the Gaspé
Peninsula tonight before gradually drifting east along the Quebec
Lower North Shore on Friday. Strong to gale force southeasterly winds
will sweep across all waters later today and tonight ahead of an
intense trough associated with this low. Winds will shift to strong
to gale force south to southwesterly behind the trough.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.
