Issued 8:00 PM NDT 4 August 2020 Tonight and Wednesday At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight trough located on a line east-west over
the Avalon Peninsula.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Wednesday dissipating trough located on a line
east-west over the southern Grand Banks.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight building ridge located over Nova Scotia.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Wednesday ridge located southeast of the Avalon
Peninsula.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:41 PM NDT 4 August 2020 At 6:30 PM NDT, tropical storm Isaias was located near 42.7 north
And 74.2 west, about 110 nautical miles north of New York City.
Isaias had a minimum pressure of 995 MB and maximum sustained winds
of 55 knots. Isaias is currently moving north-northeastward at 35
knots, and is expected to weaken and pass west of New Brunswick and
into Southern Quebec early Wednesday morning.

Isaias is currently not expected to have significant impact on
Newfoundland waters.
