Issued 8:00 PM NST 20 February 2018 Tonight and Wednesday At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight trough located over the northern Grand
Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Wednesday departing trough located east of the
Marine District.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight ridge located over western Labrador.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Wednesday ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over the northern Marine District.

By 3:30 p.m. NST Wednesday approaching low located near the Gaspe
Peninsula.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:49 PM NST 20 February 2018 A trough of low pressure over the Northern Grand Banks will move east
of the district tonight. Strong to gale force northwesterlies in its
wake are expected to diminish overnight tonight as a ridge approaches
from the west.

Marine interests are advised a gale warning is in effect for Belle
Isle Bank.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Gulf waters, East Coast - north of Cape St. Francis,
Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank and Northern Grand
Banks.
