Issued 10:00 AM NDT 20 May 2018 Today Tonight and Monday At 10:00 a.m. NDT today departing ridge located southeast of the
Grand Banks.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today deepening low 999 mb located over western
Labrador.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Monday low 975 mb located northeast of Belle
Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:49 AM NDT 20 May 2018 An intensifying low pressure system will approach from the west today
and move over Belle Isle Bank by this evening. The low will then move
northeastward away from the district overnight. Strong to gale force
southerly winds will spread across all waters as the low approaches
today. Winds will shift to strong to gale force west to
northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Coast, East Coast, Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank, and
Northern Grand Banks.
