At 3:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday approaching ridge located south of the
Maritimes.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:37 AM NDT 20 July 2026 A low pressure system just north of the Gulf of St. Lawrence will
cross Labrador today as it moves to lie over the Labrador Sea by
tonight. Strong to gale force southeasterlies over northern waters
will shift to strong to gale force southwesterlies today or tonight
ahead of the low.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle.
