Wind light increasing to northeast 15 to 20 knots this evening and to northeast 25 late overnight except southwest 15 to 20 over southeastern sections Sunday morning and afternoon. Wind diminishing to north 15 to 20 Sunday afternoon then increasing to northwest 35 Sunday evening.

Rain beginning near midnight changing to snow Sunday afternoon. Fog banks dissipating Sunday afternoon. Visibility 1 mile or less in fog banks and in snow.

Issued 3:30 PM NDT 10 May 2025 Tonight and Sunday At 3:30 p.m. NDT today deepening low 1002 mb located over the Gulf
of Maine.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Sunday low 990 mb located over western Belle
Isle Bank.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today trough from low located on a line east-west
over the South Coast of Newfoundland.
By 3:30 a.m. NDT Monday departing trough from low located east of
the Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:26 PM NDT 10 May 2025 A deepening low pressure system over the Gulf of Maine will approach
the marine district tonight. The low pressure system will cross the
Gulf of St. Lawrence on Sunday morning before moving to lie over
Belle Isle Bank by Sunday afternoon. Moderate to strong
southeasterlies to northeasterlies ahead of the low will shift to
strong to gale force southwesterlies to northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Gulf waters, Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast - Cape St.
Francis and south, and Southwestern Grand Banks.
