the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over eastern Newfoundland.

Issued 2:53 AM NDT 20 April 2026 A trough of low pressure over the Gulf of St. Lawrence will slowlytrack eastward across Newfoundland today before lying over Eastern
Newfoundland by overnight tonight. Strong to gale force southerlies
ahead of the trough will shift to strong westerlies to northerlies in
its wake.
Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Gulf - Port au Port.
