Issued 3:00 AM NST 22 February 2018 Today Tonight and Friday At 3:00 a.m. NST today deepening low 988 mb located over
southeastern Belle Isle Bank.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Friday deepening low 954 mb located southeast
of Greenland.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today high located over Quebec.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Friday high located over the Maritimes.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:52 AM NST 22 February 2018 A low pressure system over Southeastern Belle Isle Bank will rapidly
intensify as it moves out over the North Atlantic today and tonight.
Meanwhile, a strong area of high pressure will slowly build eastward
from Quebec. Gale to storm force northwesterlies can be expected
today in the wake of the low. Strong to gale force northwesterlies
will then persist tonight and Friday between the low and the
approaching high.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank and Funk Island Bank. Gale warnings are in effect for
all remaining waters except Strait of Belle Isle.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters.
