Issued 3:00 AM NDT 24 March 2019 Today Tonight and Monday At 3:00 a.m. NDT today low 978 mb located over northern Funk
Island Bank.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT today trough located over eastern Labrador Sea.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over the Quebec Lower North Shore.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Monday trough located over Funk Island Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:50 AM NDT 24 March 2019 A low pressure system over Northern Funk Island Bank will move
northward into the Labrador Sea this morning then weaken into a
trough this afternoon. Strong to gale force southerlies over eastern
waters will shift to strong westerlies in its wake this morning.

An approaching trough will cross northern waters tonight. Strong to
gale force southwesterlies ahead of the trough will shift to strong
to gale force northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Gulf waters, Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank, and the Northern
Grand Banks.
