Grand Banks.
At 3:30 p.m. NDT today trough from low located on a line
northeast-southwest over the northern Grand Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday departing trough from low located east
of the Grand Banks.
At 3:30 p.m. NDT Tuesday approaching trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over Quebec.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:18 PM NDT 28 April 2025 A low pressure system near the Avalon Peninsula will move to lie overthe Southeastern Grand Banks tonight. Meanwhile, an associated trough
extending northeast of the low will depart east of the Grand Banks
tonight. Strong to gale force southerlies ahead of these features
will diminish tonight.
A second trough of low pressure will approach the marine district
from the west Tuesday. Strong to gale force southerlies will develop
over northern waters late Tuesday ahead of the low.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank, Northern Grand Banks, and Southeastern Grand Banks.
