southern Grand Banks.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Friday high located east of the Grand Banks.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over Quebec.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Friday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over Labrador.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT Friday approaching low located over New England.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today dissipating ridge located over northern
Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:53 AM NDT 21 March 2019 A trough will approach Labrador from the west overnight tonight.
Strong to gale force southwesterly winds are forecast to develop over
northern waters tonight ahead of this feature.

A low pressure system will approach the Maritimes from the southwest
on Friday. Strong to gale force southeasterly winds are forecast to
develop over southern waters Friday afternoon.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Northeast Coast and Funk Island Bank.

Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Belle Isle Bank.
