Marine Weather StatementIssued 2:46 AM NST 9 March 2021 A deepening low pressure system south of Southeastern Grand Banks
will track northeastward today and depart this evening. Strong to
gale force northeasterly winds ahead of the low will shift to gale to
storm force north to northwesterlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Southeastern Grand Banks. Gale warnings are in effect for Northern
Grand Banks and Southwestern Grand Banks.
Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Belle Isle Bank.
