Issued 8:00 PM NDT 25 September 2018 Tonight and Wednesday At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight ridge located over Cabot Strait.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday quasi-stationary ridge located on a
line northeast-southwest over the Grand Banks.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight trough located over northern Quebec.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Wednesday trough located over eastern Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 8:05 PM NDT 25 September 2018 A trough of low pressure over Northern Quebec will cross Northern
Labrador on Wednesday. Strong to gale force southerlies will develop
over western waters on Wednesday with this system.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, and Gulf-Port au Port.

Tropical cyclone information: Leslie continues to meander in the
central Atlantic near 32 north latitude 43 west longitude but has
transitioned to a post tropical storm. This will be the last position
update unless and until Leslie regains tropical characteristics.
