of the Grand Banks.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight ridge located from Labrador Sea to
Nova Scotia.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Tuesday ridge located from Labrador Sea to
Newfoundland.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday approaching trough located over the
St. Lawrence River.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:19 PM NDT 7 October 2024 A low pressure system south of the Grand Banks will gradually move
eastward tonight. Strong to gale force northeasterlies over southern
waters will gradually diminish early Tuesday morning as the low
tracks away from the district.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
Southern Grand Banks.
