Grand Banks.
At 3:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located east of Newfoundland.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT today dissipating ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over Belle Isle Bank.
At 3:00 a.m. NDT Saturday approaching high 1032 mb located over
Quebec.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:41 AM NDT 4 April 2025 A low pressure system over the Maritimes will deepen as it crossesthe Grand Banks today before moving off to the east tonight. Strong
to gale force southeasterlies expected ahead of the low will shift to
strong to gale force northerly after it passes.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Funk Island Bank and the Grand Banks.
Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warnings is
in effect for Northeast Coast.
