Issued 3:30 PM NST 21 November 2017 Tonight and Wednesday At 3:30 p.m. NST today low 987 mb located east of Funk Island Bank.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Wednesday weakening low 1003 mb located east of
the Grand Banks.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today ridge located on a line north-south over
the Maritimes.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Wednesday ridge located on a line north-south
over eastern Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:40 PM NST 21 November 2017 An intense low pressure system will east of the marine district will
retrograde westward to lie just off the eastern edge of Funk Island
Bank tonight. The low will then weaken as it drifts southward on
Wednesday. Gale to storm force northwesterlies over eastern waters
will gradually diminish on Wednesday as the low weakens.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Funk Island Bank and Northern Grand Banks. Gale warnings are in
effect for East Coast and Southeastern Grand Banks.
