Issued 3:00 AM NST 25 January 2026 Today Tonight and Monday At 3:00 a.m. NST today intensifying low 958 mb located east of
Belle Isle Bank.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Monday low 943 mb located east of Belle Isle Bank.

At 3:00 a.m. NST today ridge located over southern Quebec.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Monday ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over Cape Breton Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:47 PM NST 24 January 2026 A low pressure system east of Belle Isle Bank will merge with another
low east of the Grand Banks then rapidly intensify well east of Belle
Isle Bank tonight into Sunday. Gale to storm force westerlies to
northwesterlies are expected behind these features.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Belle Isle Bank. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters
except Strait of Belle Isle and Northeast Gulf.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters.
