Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:15 PM NST 17 February 2020 A low pressure system south of Newfoundland will cross the Grand
Banks tonight then move east of the region early Tuesday. Strong to
gale force northwesterlies can be expected over eastern waters in the
wake of the low on Tuesday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
Funk Island Bank and Northern Grand Banks.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except the Strait of Belle Isle and the
Southern Grand Banks.
